PSAT
The PSAT 8/9 will be administered on Thursday, October 14, 2021 (SEE UPDATE BELOW). The PSAT 8/9 is free for all 8th-grade students. Sixth and 7th-grade students wishing to take the PSAT, must complete the sign-up form by September 9, 2021, and pay the required College Board fee of $18.00 to Chamblee Middle School by Thursday, September 30, 2021. UPDATE TO THE INFORMATION ABOVE:
DeKalb ONLY pays for 8th graders to take the PSAT 8/9 assessment.
In times past, if you had 6th and/or 7th-grade students wanting to take the PSAT 8/9 assessment, we could place a separate order for those students and pay College Board directly; however, placing a separate order is not an option for this school year.
With that being said, we are still allowed to test our 6th and 7th-grade students; however, we must test those students on a different date and order test materials for those students directly through College Board.
For our 6th and/or 7th graders that have paid for the PSAT 8/9, those students will test on Friday, October 15, 2021.
